The museum to civil & Religious Liberty
The Pilgrims gave us a legacy of liberty under law as families are bound by covenant one to another in a civil body politic. Their documents and examples not only inspired works like the Declaration of Independence, gave the future United States a thriving example of the power of religious and civil liberty when we are “one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.”
As we approach 2020, The Leyden Preservation Group has inaugurated plans to seek to acquire property on the historic Coles Hill, just yards from Plymouth Rock. Our intention is to use this unique opportunity in time to create a national Museum to Civil and Religious Liberty. Stay tuned with us for more details. To help our efforts, please consider donating to our work of preservation.
